A lovely salt glaze pitcher showing relief hunting scenes, with its original sterling silver lid hallmarked London 1824.

The pitcher has a very nicely done repair / replacement handle, originally it would have been pottery as the rest of the piece, but was replaced at some point ( probably late C.19th ) with a beautifully made wicker one, just as strong and useable as the original!

The silver lid is monogrammed with a “ W “ and a heraldic motif of a rampant lion or wolf.

Overall in good antique condition, no chips or cracks, silver lid in good condition.
